Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT), the benchmark biennial event, serves as a vital forum for exchange of ideas and collaborative brainstorming among the industry experts from all over the world. I am pleased to announce that the upcoming edition, SIAT 2026, the 19th in the series, will be held from 28th to 30th January 2026 in Pune, India. The concurrent SIAT EXPO 2026 will provide opportunity to worldwide automotive and allied industry to demonstrate spectrum of their products, technologies and services.

The theme for SIAT 2026 is "Innovative Pathways for Safe and Sustainable Mobility," which aptly reflects industry’s commitment to address contemporary challenges in safety and sustainability, with innovative solutions.

The previous editions of SIAT have attracted large gatherings of automotive experts, Featuring Technical Presentations, Keynote Addresses and Panel Discussions with growing focus on advanced automotive technologies. SIAT 2026 will focus on technological advancements in different automotive domains like Safety, Emissions, Sustainable Fuels, Electric Mobility, Fuel Cells, Intelligent Transportation Systems, etc.

It is expected that SIAT 2026 will attract large gathering of over 2,000 Indian and overseas delegates, presentations of over 300 Technical Papers and Keynotes by the automotive experts all over the world. The concurrent SIAT EXPO 2026 will also have over 400 display booths, showcasing the latest automotive technologies, products and services by the industry.

Call for Papers

Abstract submission deadline is over. Thank you for your overwhelming response

Abstract should be limited to a maximum of 300 words, emphasizing the significance of analytical / experimental study and originality of contribution with results. The Technical Paper Review Committee (TPRC) will evaluate the abstracts. Draft manuscripts of the selected abstracts will be invited for evaluation, according to SAE technical paper quality guidelines.

  • - Technical Papers should follow SAE technical paper writing guidelines as summarized in here
  • - Papers accepted for publication and presentation in SIAT 2026 will be given SAE paper numbers and will find place in SAE database. Paper contents should not have been published elsewhere.

SIAT EXPO 2026

Exposition of automotive technologies/products as well as automotive testing, validation, tools and engineering services is being organized concurrently.

The exposition will attract automotive OEMs, Tier-I, Tier-II & Tier-Ill suppliers, startups, equipment manufacturers, CAD/CAM/CAE tool providers, technologists, engineering service providers and Test Agencies to showcase their products and service capabilities. It would be open to automotive fraternity and interested individuals, providing an excellent opportunity for promotion of business, networking and dissemination of information.
