First Announcement for SIAT 2011 has already been released on 5th of January at Auto Expo 2010
and with this; countdown has really begun for SIAT 2011 scheduled in next January.
If we look at the current times, we find that reserves of fossil fuels are depleting and concerns
of global warming are increasing. Thus, the main challenge auto industry now facing is to design
and develop environmentally friendly, fuel efficient and affordable automobiles.
Such efforts call for extensive research and development by the automotive experts and application
of innovative methods by the technologists, hence the theme of
"Sustainable Mobility -
A Creative Challenge" is appropriate for the forth coming SIAT.
The forth coming SIAT 2011; which is 12th in the series of SIATs will provide the appropriate
platform for experts to present the advancements and share the ideas on these lines.
The concurrently held SIAT EXPO is golden opportunity for show casing the technologies for
making safer cleaner and quieter automobiles.
We are expecting more than 100 papers to be presented in the conference on the varied subjects
like NVH, CAE,
Power Plants, Alternate Fuels, Materials, Emissions, Alternate Energy, Vehicle
Engineering, etc. Apart from this; 25 + keynote papers are expected from the well known experts
from the fields across the globe.
Taking into account the over whelming response of exhibitors in the last SIAT, the SIAT 2011
organisers have expanded the capacity to accommodate more stalls and the number has been revised
upwards from earlier 133 to 160 stalls now. We are expecting similar response from delegates.
